A VERY SPECIAL MOMENT

Autumn is well and truly on our doorstep, down here in the southern Hemisphere.  While you northerners enjoy warming temps and Spring flowers, it’s cooling down a few degrees down here.  It’s by no means cold yet, in fact we are having a very mild prelude to Winter.  But at night, it’s a bit chilly.

Today I was out and about, and in town today, Warwick was honoured to have a visit from actor/Dancing with the Stars winner/ Philanthropist, Samuel Johnson.  Yes, the one and only.  What a lovely guy, so humble and genuine. He is doing a tour all around Australia, visiting towns and cities to fundraise for the Garven Institute and raise awareness for breast cancer.  He lost his sister Connie to Breast Cancer, and her dying wish was to raised money to beat the disease.

He is such a humble, caring, sincere guy.  He needs lots of help to reach his targeted fundraising goal, so if you see him out and about, go and see him and give him a hug.

If it had been under different circumstances when we met him, I would have given him a copy of Local Time, but I thought not.  He is flat-out fundraising, meeting people, spreading the word, being amazing.  Maybe I will post him a copy to read when he had met his goal.  He will be needing a rest, some R & R, so a good book might just be the ticket.

Until next time,

Happy reading!
