LIBRARY CAMPAIGN

Is it just me or is this month racing by?

My last blog was 13 days ago….only feels like a few days.

I have been getting some great responses from libraries.  I have been ‘cold-calling’ them, asking for the librarian and pitching Local Time to them.  The hardest part of it is finding a librarian who is available to talk to me.  They are a very busy bunch of people.  The responses I have had so far are really encouraging.  They instantly relate to ‘aging outrageously and disgracefully’.   And that is the essence of what Local Time is all about.

Australia is a big place, so there are many libraries to ring.  I ring them when time permits, and the librarians and I have a chat and a laugh, confirming they will order their copies.  Local Time is winning hearts across this great southern land of ours.
I am doing regular excerpts from Local Time on my Author page on Facebook.  They are wee teasers to give a taste of Carrisbrook. Like and follow my page, there is always something fun and interesting happening.

With Easter on our doorstep, it’s time for chocolate and quality family time over the long weekend.

Wherever you are, whatever you do, safe travels if you are going away, and I hope it’s a good Easter for you.

Until next time,

Happy Easter and happy reading!
